DESCRIPTION:As part of its fall Developmental Disabilities Lecture Series\, the Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities will present Unlearning Ableism: How to be an Ally with People with Disabilities\, from 10 a.m.to 12 p.m. Friday\, Sept. 30. \nAbleism\, or discrimination against people with disabilities\, contributes to inequities in our society. During this webinar\, participants will learn to identify ableism and how they can respond in positive\, proactive ways to promote inclusion.
